About Us
Our Foundation. Our Future. Our Calling.
Yes Lord Church is a Spirit-led, Christ-centered community committed to pursuing God’s presence, equipping believers, and advancing the Kingdom of God. We are a church where people from all walks of life can encounter Jesus, be transformed by His love, and grow into their God-given purpose.
Our heart is to see lives changed, families restored, and cities impacted through powerful worship, sound teaching, genuine fellowship, and bold outreach. We believe in creating a space where the least, the lost, and the last can find hope, healing, and a home. Whether you’re just beginning your faith journey or looking to go deeper, there’s a place for you here.
At Yes Lord, we live to behold the Lord daily, get equipped weekly, and be sent out to spread the Gospel until His return.
We’re not just a church—we’re a movement of revival.

Our History
2015
Yes Lord Outreach - Founded
Yes Lord was founded in 2015 by Cristi Gooding, after experiencing a radical encounter with Jesus that transformed her life. Following her salvation, Cristi received a vision of people wearing T-shirts boldly declaring the phrase “Yes Lord.” A few years later, she took a step of faith—ordering the first 28 shirts and giving them away. Her simple yet powerful vision was this: “Get the shirt on them, and the Lord will do the rest.” What began as a T-shirt ministry quickly grew into a movement, centered around total surrender, bold faith, and the power of saying “Yes” to the call of God.
2018
Yes Lord Became a Church
In 2018, Yes Lord became a church as Cristi Gooding partnered with Robert and Darlene Burton, who shared the same heart to say “yes” to the Lord. Together, they honored the original vision while expanding it—desiring not only to see people say “yes” to God but to teach them how to steward that yes with faithfulness, boldness, and obedience. Their unified leadership laid the groundwork for a church that equips believers to walk out their calling, live surrendered lives, and carry the presence of God into every sphere of influence.
2023
Yes Lord Today
Today, Yes Lord Church continues to grow and thrive, following the same heartbeat that started it all—surrender to Jesus and obedience to His call. In 2023, we stepped into a new chapter as we moved into our very own building at 630 N Bivins St, Amarillo, Texas 79107. This space is more than just a building—it’s a home for revival, discipleship, and community. From this place, we continue to behold the Lord daily, equip the saints weekly, and be sent out to spread the Gospel until He returns. What began with a vision and a few T-shirts has become a movement of people fully committed to saying “Yes, Lord.”
